A good course which balances nicely between the modern "learn by doing" approach and the more traditional grammar based approach - though I feel that after a well paced start the book accelerates too fast for some learners. I have found it to be an excellent dipping book once intermediate level has been reached. In conclusion it is fine (especially if you can't find anything else) but is perhaps best used in conjunction with other resources.
