Broadford Village
Broadford and its immediate neighbours (Ashaig, Breakish, Skulamus, Waterloo, Harrapool, and Corry) situated along the southern edge of the Inner Sound, form the largest settlement in South Skye.
A bank, medical centre, post office, petrol station, car hire, tourist information office are available, plus a number of other shops.
Looking East over Broadford Bay from near the local hospital.
The road from Kyleakin travels along the far shore and the hills are on the Eastern most part of the Island, guarding Kylerhea.

This pier is still used commercially for fishing and other purposes, a small motor boat, the Family's Pride II also operates trips from here.
In the distance are the Mainland hills.

The Mainland hills of Applecross are in the background, on the other side of the Inner Sound.
