Fishing, by creel or trawl, is one of the main employers in Elgol. The local boats land their catch at this small jetty on the shore of Loch Scavaig.
The pleasure craft Bella Jane and Misty Isle also run trips from the jetty to Loch Coruisk and the Cuillin Hills.
